Default Where are my waypoints?

I"ve been playing this game for 100 game hours, and I've accumulated about 10 or 15 waypoints on the map.

So what the hell happened to all the waypoints I had accumulated while I was away for TWO YEARS and Ascalon was getting seared? Surely I must have seen at least one city during those two years... What was I doing? Sitting on my duff? Running circles in a forest?

Damn...

I have the sneaking suspicion that I should have paid more attention to things said to me while I was first playing... but still... two years and no new attributes... no new skills... no new equipment... I must have been one lazy bugger!

I'm totaly confused by your post, can't make any sense out of it.

You spend 100 hours in the tutorial and didn't pay enough attention? And found 10 to 15 waypoints out of the total 5?

those two-years were spent fighting the war against the charr.
Yeah, uhhhh, how did you get 15 waypoints from pre-sear?

Easy there, folks.

He's just commenting on how as the first screen loads in Post Seared Old Ascalon, it is said to be "Two Years Later." and for all intents and purposes, your character has appeared to have gone nowhere. (It makes perfect sense to me, as if you listen to Osric you get the idea that you've been running missions for Rurik and the Vanguard, but anyway.)

I dunno, I laughed. It was an amusing post.

lol he means something like this:

Plays for ... say... 10 hours pre-sear... gets a couple waypoints (Ascalon, Ashford etc)
*game cinematic after academy takes you to 2 years in the future etc*
Plays for further 90 hours post-sear... gets 10 - 15 waypoints...

i.e for 2 years he musta just stood around in one spot to not get ONE single waypoint :P

I'm liking these "silly" posts atm, love the henchman topic in Off-topic

Well not to be a bugger or anything, I give credit for humor to the poster but found it MORE hilarious in a really scary way that people didn't get it!??!

Well, if you're gonna be that way about it...

(If you're a good person.) You spent the past two years probably finding any family that survived, assisting the wounded, and guess what... the whole region got BURNINATED!! You're gonna have to do a total recon on the terrain and that's gonna eat up more time.

(If you're a snot.) You spent the past two years as part of the rioters who were looting whilst Ascalon was in total chaos. The Ascalon Guard is now decimated, so they're having a hard time keeping the thugs and the civilians under control. And guess what... the whole place got BURNINATED!! You're going to have to skip town soon on account of it's no fun after a while robbing burning skeletons and the Necromancer's called dibs on them ages ago.
